Rooibos & Honeybush

This South African tea has a fine needle like leaf.  The production of this tea is much the same as black tea.  Rooibos comes in green and black.  Green Rooibos is unfermented, and red Rooibos is fermented.  Rooibos or Honeybush does not contain caffeine, artificial colours or preservatives and is low in tannin.  It is suitable for both adults and children.  While it is high in antioxidants, it also contains calcium, iron, potassium and fluoride.
